News!
Dr. Mitchell is Alive! Well, of course she's alive! It wasn't like she went away on a 1000 mile canoe race, I mean that's THREE ZEROES! Oh wait, she WAS on a 1000 mile canoe race! You know, if I had to travel 1000 miles I would take an RV, or a plane or something, wouldn't you? Apparently Dr. Mitchell is kind of....adventerous, not crazy, no, just adventurous. Dr. Mitchell and her husband Bob finished 5th out 10 competitors. They are both safe and in good health (except for that whole 'adventurous' thing of course, but I guess the exercise is healthy right? But there must be a difference between 'healthy' and 'insane.' Unless your definition of 'healthy' is exactly the same as 'insane.' Come to think of it, is there really anyone or anything that is not 'insane' in some form or another? Is really such thing as normal, or even such thing as 'insane.' Its all relative, don't you think?) In any case, Dr. Mitchell and Bob did an outstanding job. Congratulations Dr. Mitchell and WELCOME HOME!!
Summer Bash 2010

Now is the time to bring in your dontions for the Summer Bash. This year's Bash will be held on August 28th from 9am to 2pm. If it rains we will hold it inside so hope for sun! As usual, we will have furry representatives, and their people, from the Animal Welfare Society, the Animal Refuge League, the Ever After Mustang Rescue, the Ferret Rescue of Maine, Maine Greyhound Placement Services and H.A.R.T. Let's not forget the food, raffles and fun! Remember that the Summer Bash is one big yard sale. All of the sale items are donated by the generous people of Southern Maine and all the proceeds from the sales are divided amongst the rescue groups and the Angel Fund. The previous two Bashes have brought in close to $2,000.00!!! Let's see if we can top that this year. If you have any questions, please call us at: 207-282-5151. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
